The Berkeley Buddhist Priory is located at 1358 Marin Avenue in the Albany - North Berkeley area.

Priory

From Interstate 80 Northbound: Exit at the Albany exit. At the end of the off ramp, turn right onto Buchanan Street. Follow Buchanan eastbound as it jogs right then left. At San Pablo Avenue, Buchanan Street changes its name to Marin Avenue. Continue eastbound passing under the BART tracks to the Priory at 1358 Marin Avenue on the South side of the street.

From Interstate 80 Southbound: Exit at the Albany exit. At the end of the off ramp, turn left onto Cleveland Avenue. Continue southbound on Cleveland curving left to pass under the freeway off ramp and onto Buchanan Street. Follow Buchanan eastbound as it jogs right then left. At San Pablo Avenue, Buchanan Street changes its name to Marin Avenue. Continue eastbound passing under the BART tracks to the Priory at 1358 Marin Avenue on the South side of the street.

From Interstate 580 Eastbound: Use the left exit for Albany / Buchanan Street; at the end of the off ramp, turn left on Buchanan Street. Continue East on Buchanan, which will cross over Interstate 80 and then jog right and left. At San Pablo Avenue, Buchanan Street changes its name to Marin Avenue. Continue eastbound passing under the BART tracks to the Priory at 1358 Marin Avenue on the South side of the street.

From BART: Take the AC Transit 43 line southbound from El Cerrito Plaza Station. It will travel up Solano Avenue; exit at Solano and Santa Fe Avenues. From there walk South on Santa Fe one block to Marin Avenue. Cross to the South side of the Street, and the Priory is located about five houses to the west. BART has regularly scheduled trains. AC Transit provides information on schedules and routes for the 43 line.

Alternatively, from the El Cerrito Plaza station, it is about a 1.5-mile walk to the Priory. From the station, walk South under the BART tracks on the pedestrian walkway in the greenbelt. Turn left at Marin Avenue and continue 3 1/2 blocks to the Priory on the South side of the street.
